In 1999 The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust debuted its newest addition to the streetscaping program, the Cultural District Banner Program. This public art project boasts nearly 50 banners used as graphic markers for the Cultural District. |
The banners are colored in teals and magentas, and recognize the array of performing and visual arts organizations and venues within the District. The banner program is a permanent public improvement to be updated as needed. |
